Sarah Vap is the author of three collections of poetry, American Spikenard, which won the 2006 Iowa Poetry Prize, Dummy Fire, which won the 2006 Saturnalia Poetry Prize, and Faulkner’s Rosary, also published by Saturnalia Press. In 2012, her fourth collection, Iris Starless, will be published by Saturnalia Press and a book of essays will be published by Preposition Press. Her poems and essays can be found in American Poetry Review, Field, Colorado Review, Interim, and many other journals. Her work can be found online at Blackbird and 42 Opus, where she has been a poetry editor since 2004. She lives in the Skokomish Valley with her love, Todd, and their loves, Oskar and Mateo.
